What I’ll paint on my canvas is up to me.

Make-up! Or my face as others like to call it.

When I think about it, its strange that this has become my “face”, my identity. Through my life I have met a handful of people who hasn’t recognised me without make-up. And I am not the kind of person who can’t go outside without make-up. I do it all the time. I just love dolling up, meeting the day with bright lipstick and long lashes. A way for me to just make my day better. Because it’s kind of a hobby for me, a routine I do in the morning in order to wake up, just like the first cup of coffee.

So maybe this is my “face” after all, the natural me is more like a starting point. A canvas. All the tools (make-up, brushes, lashes ect) are available, why not use them? Why is it such a bad thing to do in someones eyes? Just because I like it, doesn’t mean I judge you badly if you don’t. It’s like my view on vegetarism vs. normal diet. If you accept that I don’t eat meat, I’ll accept that you do. So if you just accept that I wear this kind of make up almost every day, I’ll accept that you don’t.

Simple isn't it?

Why do we always have to have opinions about what others should and should not do? Just let it be. Life gets easier if you do.

This is not what I originally intended to write about.

Just wanted to make a simple update about my favorite type of make-up, and then all these thoughts appeared. Well, this IS my favorite kind of make up. 2-3 different shades of brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, a bit dramatic looking lashes, orange/pink blushes and bright lips. Really bright-colored lips is becoming my favorite this season. But light shades is a good number second.

Gonna hit the gym soon, but I’m really tired so I’m afraid this workout is going to be slow and hard. My brain is telling me that I would just love to skip it, but I know I’ll feel much more energized and awake afterwards. Such a lovely effect of working out~

Dare to wear something bright for spring~

So awkward poses, I think holidays have made it awkward to do outfit shots. In other words, it has been ages sins last post. Since then I have managed to purchase a t-shirt with awesome pastel print. It was a totally impulse buy I did with a very good friend. And since I can’t walk around in uggs, because they where the only flats I had, I got me some new shoes for spring!

I have also bought a very vibrant and violet lipstick, because I saw it on my best friend back home. There is just something about sunny weather which makes me want to wear bright lipstick that I have never dared to wear before. But this summer I am doing something about it.

Just as colorful as the surroundings ~

Me behind the desk at the local handcrafts shop~ Just for fun, where no customers inside right then. I think this must be my most colorful outfit during easter break. Just as colorful as the store.

I have also been pretty tired of using lashes lately, but the 3 past day’s I have been wearing them every day. It goes up and down, but this time the down period have been pretty long. I have been serious considering if I would ever bother to wear lashes any more. All  I needed was just to fall on love with a simple style of gyaru make-up and some simple but a bit dramatic pair of lashes. Love them~

Its when you take your time it all becomes perfect.

I have noooo idea whats going on with my hand in that first picture. Just, no idea. And strange how when you put on make-up for nothing and it ends up becoming perfect. Why can’t I achieve this everyday? Might have something to do with the fact that this time I had all the time in the world to do it. Usually I just have 30 min, and I’m stressing around with making coffee and ect. Time is everything.

Tiny joys in life: When someone surprise you with a gift!

This was totally unexpected, I am really grateful for it~ Somebody I know had recently been in London and came back with a gift even tho I didn’t ask for it. She asked me before she went it there was anything she could get me, but I just couldn’t come up with anything. Neither could I afford anything. Then when she came back she got two unique and beautiful sets of lashes~

The PaperSelf lashes is simply stunning! Just look at the butterflies and the deer at the end. Wonder when I’m going to use these, must be a special occasion!  I am so going to try the long ones next time I’m going out~
