Music to Pop: Week 5 – Freak Out!

I kinda skipped this post last weekend and I really regret it because the pile of music to share has grown so much, the list has started to become a really blurry mess.  Still, for the sake of not letting my schoolwork pile up in the same way I had postpone something. My life is postponed, I’m not supposed to have one right now, but I just can’t keep my ears (hands) away from new teasers, new MV releases, new live performances and so on~

New Luv: Jang Woo Hyuk – Time is [L]over

Jang Woo Hyuk is definitely my new love, I am not quite sure I’m raping the replay button on this because I love this song or because I love the choreography. Hence why I’m posting the dance version of the MV. I still can’t believe that a human can have such control over the body, it’s just freaking awesome. And I just love the dancers who is doing the hand wave-thingy during the chorus.

This week K-pop: SuJu Happy – Sunny

And no one is ever gonna respect me again. No, just kidding. This song got this place on the list because it makes me freaking happy!! Well, all of Super Junior Happy songs makes me … Happy! When I’m down, sulking over being such an anti social school freak, or being depressed over not being able to focus on my work and so on with the list of reasons for being down.. I just put on this, Cooking? Cooking! or Pajama Party, and I’m up bouncing around in 3 seconds. It’s unexplainable, it just happens!

This Week J-rock: The GazettE - Uncertain Sence

What not Vortex? Well, it’s no fun on reposting songs I’ve already shared all the time, is it? By all means, Vortex is still awesome as hell, but the single got two other great songs I love too. After posting SuJu, then this, I’m left with the feeling that my music taste is some what bipolar.

Omg, I just can’t believe I’m hooked on a football song. And it’s Korea’s VM song too. I’ve been replaying this SOO much while sitting on school working like a dork. LIKE A DORK literally because it’s impossible to sit still while listening to this. In my eyes(ears) this beats Shakiga’s VM song x10294810.

Areia Remix:

Two of my favorite remixes at the moment. Generally I’m hooked on all of his remixes, but lately these have been tasting the replay button abuse.

Orange Caramel:

For some reason I keep on reading “orange camel” and think ”hm, what a strange name” every time before I realise it’s CARAMEL. Oh well, I just love this song and MV and all the weirdness it has. Oh holy crap the shoes in the beginning is pure love!

25th of March – Miss Chic

Weekend, again already? I don’t feel like this week has gone by fast, but still it feels like it just was weekend. Not complaining tho, we like weekends don’t we? I don’t have much planned except for training, coffee with Lele and schoolwork. Probably going to walk to Lele’s place pretty soon just to have a nice chat with her and JP.

Today I stood model for a friend, and we had the photoshoot at my place, in my room. I don’t mind being taken pictures of, but it went by kinda awkwardly, because it … well.. was in my room? IDK. Wasn’t in the right mood probably. Oh it was cool, and I hope the pictures are usable. And that I don’t have this ridiculous stone face on all of them.

Wore my extensions today~ it lost most of it volume through the day tho.  My hair is pretty thin so it’s hard to manage to get them in without them showing, and because of the undercut I can’t fit them all in at the same time, a bit annoying. Still, certainly fun to see myself with this long hair~

Discovered Elva Hsiao through SuJu M, when I came over Zhou Mi performing it at SS3. I just love  hearing him sing it, and watch him dance to it. Still, I really love the original song. So addictive~

13th of March – Baby, You Make Me Cry

Ouch, why do I do this to myself? I see countless of names, new releases, events and so on through my fav gossip site, Allkpop. I even check out some videos of groups, and think “nah, this isn’t something for me, I those two songs and rest is…”. Then, weeks later I decide to see a few videos again and I go like “why the fuck didn’t I like this before nooow, its sooo great??!”. Honestly, I’m also wondering why the sudden I like it when I didn’t before.

Oh, I just love the underwater/rain scenes ;__;

That’s just what my experience with MBLAQ is. I’ve listened to two of their songs since last summer, and haven’t thought checking them out more because I was convinced they weren’t my ideal type of group. Well, apparently they are. Duh, I love artist with dance skills, diversity, and image. So I’m just sitting here asking myself why just why didn’t I like them before? I just can’t remember it!

I like them for daring to do things a bit different. Now, this would be hard to explain to someone who is new to kpop, so just trust me on this. The high tones, eyemake-up, dance moves. Just different. Maybe that what scared me a bit before? And all this just because I was going to download the video to “Oh Yeah“, which was one of the songs I listened to before~

25th of February – Tai guo xin ji

Oh this is too much for itsy bitsy tiny me, 2011 seems to be the big year for Kpop. So many incredible good new releases. I have to agree with Ron when saying a girl would explode by feeling to many different emotions at the same time. Although I just want to explode because of all this happiness bubbling inside me. Honestly, I’m a ticking bomb right now.

Yesterday, BIGBANG released their 4th mini album. I’ve been really looking forward to this, tension built up for days. Cruel YG Entertainment teased the fan with tiny vids for days. Finally, yesterday I was able to listen to the album, and its great! They even reached high on the US iTunes list. Yes, you can purchase the album for around 56NOK if I remember it correctly. THEN TODAY, Super Junior M released their new mini album and the MV for ‘Too Perfect’, which is a song that has been going on repeat on my MP3 for days. I’m beyond loving the song, it makes me so happy. So watching the MV was incredible. The dance, the lyric, the theme, their outfits & everything. I’m totally blown away and I keep watching it over and over and over and over…

I have to admit I never noticed Zhou Mi before watching this and I started to wonder who that tall skinny guy with orange hair was. He just stand out in the MV. And honestly, it’s hard to keep up with all the names within Super Junior. Oh, I just have to say it because I’m so caught up in him right now, I love Ryeowook’s parts in this song, and his high tone towards the end~

I once read that someone didn’t like SJM new songs because they where on Chinese and that it sounded quite weird, I’m actually surprised how amazing ‘Too Perfect’ and the other songs is sung, and can’t imagine them sung on any other language. 13th of February – Remix My Life KK?

So what have my days been containing lately? Stupidly little I’ll tell you. So little that it annoys me that I’m having so little classes this week. I need some structure, routines, and something to do through the day. I hate waking up knowing that I’m getting up for nothing. It’s so much easier to get up when I know it’s just 2 hours until I have to be in my classroom.

So what to fill my days with? I could start trying to learn Japanese by myself again. I’ve tried countless of times, and its hard. I could start practicing on my guitar for real. I could sign on for boxing classes. Which I’ve wanted for ages. Or I could volunteer for something.The only problem is, that when we start having a lot of classes again and school’s getting stressful I wont have time for this kind of stuff…

Well, fuck that. Let’s talk about music! Those who know me IRL already knows, and those who is friends with me on FB have been bothered with my YouTube links. The thing is, I’ve fallen hard for club/dance remixes and mash up’s made of Korean pop. Within two days I manage to find 3 different remix artists that I liked , and over 130 songs to download and love~

First out is Robotaki. The last one I discovered, with this remix which I fell for in an instant. There’s just something about the rhythm and how well done this remix really is. I mean, the melody in the middle is just genius.

Then we got REX ROWDEE which was the first one I discovered. Just quite randomly, I don’t even remember what I was searching for in the first place. Now, my absolute favorites aren’t out on YouTube, but this one is quite good to. I love this song, and this remix just makes me love it even more.

And last is Areia, which is my favorite. IDK, with all the vids out on YouTube you can really hear how he’s developed from the first one to his last creations. I also like how he takes time to explain what he’s done with the songs, although I don’t have a clue what it all means, and he also explain what feelings his creations gives him, or what it’s memories of and ect.

They all makes me wanna dance so bad~~! Why aren’t there any night club playing these songs? I would be out there dancing all night long.
