It was quite hot outside yesterday in contrast to how low the temperature have been so far in May. Usually we’re spoiled with even hotter temperatures. Not this year. Anyways, since it has been all sunny and nice I got quite inspired by my friends idea of how to do the boho style. Meaning, more colors and such. I like that idea, I havent been all crazy for all the boho’ness in the stores so far. But with colors, it might work.

I finally got to wear the t-shirt with such lovely pastel colored print with my light purple shorts! Been thinking about that for ages. And I am so happy to wear my favorite khaki green jacket.

But, of course its chillier outside today. My typical luck with my birthday (May17th) and any birthday plans I make. Oh well, friends, gifts and good mood is going to make up for that tonight~! I think it’s the first time I seriously have celebrated my birthday with an actual party in T-town on the night before. I am so looking forward to it.

Back to the 80′s?

Finally, here’s the outfit of yesterday. I was supposed to update before going to bed yesterday, but just got to tired to type. And I was also supposed to post it in the early morning, but I overslept. Yes mom, I fell asleep after replying to the text. Luckily I woke up before 7AM so it wasn’t a disaster. I seriously need to learn to get to bed earlier, but it’s so hard when its sunny and light outside! At school I just got to busy, and I’ve just gotten back from the café, spending time with one of my best friend in town. So lovely~

But yeah, the outfit! Very mint green/blue and nostalgic. This sweater reminds me so much of my childhood, when almost every child had a knitted weater with flowers. I also feel that this outfit has something 80′-ish over it. This time I think the black tights actually fits the outfit, because of the black letters, but they could have been in another pattern or less. I seriously need to stop ruining my tights… But in all, I really love this one colors style. I know I have said it before, but I just love it so much!

A Whole lot of Pink~

Pink! Best word to describe my outfit for today. I have been wanting to make an outfit like this for ages, so when I purchased the pink shorts yesterday I had a clear plan of what to wear today when I woke up. I am such a fan of this kind of outfits, just focusing on one color. Choosing different fabrics, textures, patterns and tones of the color will make sure it don’t look dull or crazy. The top of it all, making it perfect, is the bright pink accessories and lipstick.

There’s actually one thing I don’t like about this outfit, and that is the black tights I had to wear. I only got black tights in different patterns. Oh, and crazy colored ones with floral patterns (it was SO in 2 years ago in my wardrobe at least). So I went out hunting for lighter tights, lighter black ones or skin colored ones. And I found some~! Not telling where yet, because I didn’t buy them – have my wallet with me! So I’m just hoping their still there tomorrow.

A little taste of pink~

A little preview of todays outfit. It’s so pink I am not sure if it’s allowed. Anyways, I loved it. Just adore outfits in just one color. Kinda the total opposite of the color block style. I have a few things that I need to do before I can take pictures and blog the entire outfit. I have to go grocery shopping, as I am starting to get a little low on food.

I also got a package slip from galstar in my mail box, so I am going to go and pick it up. I can’t wait to get to see the mint green sweater with roses on in real life. I hope it really is mint mint mint green. And that it will fitt to my newly bought mint green shorts. If so, I am going to do another one color outfit tomorrow~!

What I’ll paint on my canvas is up to me.

Make-up! Or my face as others like to call it.

When I think about it, its strange that this has become my “face”, my identity. Through my life I have met a handful of people who hasn’t recognised me without make-up. And I am not the kind of person who can’t go outside without make-up. I do it all the time. I just love dolling up, meeting the day with bright lipstick and long lashes. A way for me to just make my day better. Because it’s kind of a hobby for me, a routine I do in the morning in order to wake up, just like the first cup of coffee.

So maybe this is my “face” after all, the natural me is more like a starting point. A canvas. All the tools (make-up, brushes, lashes ect) are available, why not use them? Why is it such a bad thing to do in someones eyes? Just because I like it, doesn’t mean I judge you badly if you don’t. It’s like my view on vegetarism vs. normal diet. If you accept that I don’t eat meat, I’ll accept that you do. So if you just accept that I wear this kind of make up almost every day, I’ll accept that you don’t.

Simple isn't it?

Why do we always have to have opinions about what others should and should not do? Just let it be. Life gets easier if you do.

This is not what I originally intended to write about.

Just wanted to make a simple update about my favorite type of make-up, and then all these thoughts appeared. Well, this IS my favorite kind of make up. 2-3 different shades of brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, a bit dramatic looking lashes, orange/pink blushes and bright lips. Really bright-colored lips is becoming my favorite this season. But light shades is a good number second.

Gonna hit the gym soon, but I’m really tired so I’m afraid this workout is going to be slow and hard. My brain is telling me that I would just love to skip it, but I know I’ll feel much more energized and awake afterwards. Such a lovely effect of working out~
