Well, I and one of the other norwegian girls was supposed to go to the christmas light switch-on show with a Romanian exchange student, but apparently I got the time wrong… At least we had reached the centum before the fireworks started.
It was very different from the event in the park.
You could hear the loud bangs of the explosion, almost feel it, and all the people on the streets stopped to watch. It was really different. And the fireworks coming up from behind the building looked awesome!
Really love the pic above~!
santa on high bikes... and poor reindeers!
Totally not like the Norwegian tradition of speeches, gingerbread and stuff. The parade went inside one of the shopping malls where the kinds got to sit on santa’s lap. In Norway you’re lucky if you see the santa, and really really lucky if you get sweets from him.
Firework from last saturday, finally had time/remembered to edit and upload them:) I have to stop forgetting that I have a blog and that I have something to share. Today I’ve been telling myself “work for 4 hours, get an hour to blog!” It worked, so I have to keep doing that.
Today we are making home-made sushi for dinner, can't wait!
My favorites were the otters, turtles and the amazing walk-though tunnel with sharks and one big turtle! The mirror labyrinth at the end was pretty fun too. As the pussy I am I had to walk thought that with one hand stretched out. No way that I was going to crash into some mirror with people around!
And another favorite part was walking around with M in the souvenir shop at the very end, where I fell for a cute turtle teddy and M bought me it.
So, it’s about time I updated about me and M’s trip to the National Sea Life centre in Birmingham, Sunday the 7th of October. Seems so long ago, but its only 3 weeks! It was so much to see, but too dark to take proper pictures.
Since I just had drowned a cup of black coffee, I had to pee 3 times while we where there. Finding a toilet in that labyrinth of aquariums wasn’t easy! By the way, that crab was really huge. Just its head alone was as big as my hands with finger spread!
There’s a whole life in the back yards that we know nothing about, I’m sure. There are several fat pigeons, a mafia gang of small birds, some mischievous squirrels and one lazy cat here at least. Who knows what bad thins they are up to at night. Because during daytime they are rather cute.
The gang of tiny birds came to hang in our backyard and take a refreshing bath on our roof top after some heavy rainy days.
See, they are cute during the day!
Spot the flying pigeon!
I haven’t yet managed to capture a picture of the cat and the squirrels… Anyways, I’m sure these guys are up to no good when we aren’t watching ;)
This is what happens when I get tired of reading magazines.
I believe I did something similar to my history text-book during the autumn last year.
I’ve spent yesterday evening and todays morning with reading an interior magazine while taking notes of designer names and suppliers. I’m only half way though, and look at that list! The unorganized notes in the bottom corner are trends of material and colors. I need to update myself before I start at school for real on Tuesday!
mh, yummy spearmint candy~
The lens I got with my SLR camera might not be the best, but it's quite
easy to play with the focus and make blurry parts with it.
I haven’t taken any new pictures today, but I want to share some pictures of flows & swirls in the river water in Trondheim. I am quite satisfied with how these turned out. I loved standing there at the bridge that day and just look at the swirls forming, traveling down the river and dissolving into nothing.
Today I woke up with a sore throat and feeling a bit ill, just my luck. Still I have managed to eat breakfast out, stroll around in the city locating different store and eaten a delicious veggie burger for dinner. After that I decided to go to Boots pharmacy and get something for the cold. So happy that they have Strepsils here. It is working wonders. Also bought cold & flue relief tablets, which I think I will be taking before going to sleep. I hope this goes over pretty soon. I suck at being sick, and I don’t want to be sick when we hopefully move in at the house on Friday.
So, I just got some street pictures to share with you today~!
I have also tried to give my blog a new design, but haven’t been able to find something I’m satisfied with. Just choose this design as a temporary one. I really like how it looks when you go in and read entries, but I’m not sure if I like the main site. Tell me what you think!
