Yummi Squash

I had an urge to try something new today when making dinner, because I saw this picture somewhere of baked squash with vegetables. Since then it has constantly been in my head so I just had to try. It is also super simple to make, you don’t even need a recipe. You just take out the insides of the squash out, making them look like cute little weirdly shaped bowls, blend the insides with different vegetables, tomato paste and seasoning. I used spanish red peppers, broccoli and taco seasoning. I wish I had pineapple bits because that would be the best finishing touch.

Then you just have some grated cheese on the top and put them in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 mins~

It tasted so delicious! Almost like pizza, but without the bread/bottom. I am definitely making more of these. And I think I have to try to make baked peppers too. There’s a lot of vegetables you can do this with. I am looking forward to eat the last two at school tomorrow.

Colors and food for energy boost

I was feeling a little low on energy the other day and really didn’t feel like working out at all. So I decided to make a simple meal and put it in small colorful bowls in hope to get my energy boosting again. Fresh red grapes, hazelnut, walnut, almonds and a bowl of oat’s and homemade muesli with oatmilk. I must say it worked pretty good.

Had a solid workout yesterday, and I feel it in my legs today!

I just got to say it again; I love working out to Cassey Ho’s Pilates videos. I love strength training moves using my own bodyweight. Just in 6 weeks I’ve gotten more fit than I have ever been. I have never had such defined muscles before, and moving around have never been so effortless. I am getting stronger and I like it!

Lemon water keeps your Zen!

I have fallen in love with drinking lemon water, specially in the morning! And its supposed to have a lot of benefits. The only thing I can’t understand is why the water should be lukewarm. Here’s 10 reasons to drink lemon water in the morning. I’ve also learned that you should drink 16 fl. oz (ca.5dl) of water first thing in the morning. The best reasons for me must be; the fresh taste, that it strengthens the immune system, aid the digestion and help clearing skin. I might have to try it as a skin treatment too?! I love lemons.
