Just wanted to share some pictures of lovely pansies in the sun. We usually have these on the balcony rack almost every year in all sorts of colors. I love them, both for their colors and for their smell. It’s one of those smells that just belongs to the summer season.
Its been sunny and really warm weather the first two days I’ve been home, but today the sun is struggling to break through the clouds. But it’s still nice, so I might have to do my workout outdoors today top!
(Did it on saturday)
Here’s some pictures from sunday, when the weather was amazingly warm and sunny. It was one of the first days I was able to be outside and enjoy it. It was also the day I discovered that I had forgotten to take my bikini with me to t-town since last summer. So I had to sunbathe in bra and shorts. Luckily I didn’t have time to get a tan from it.
I went to a friend that has a grass field right by the river.
We laid there in the sun and talked about everything. So nice. We also played an old throwing game (pic with all the wood sticks), and I was so bad at throwing. Such a nice day~ Also, such a nice evening with friends and a wonderful time out at the summer party at one of our favorite clubs.
I really needed a day and night like that :)
Do you find it difficult to dress up when the weather is hot but still too cold for shorts? I do, I mean I did. I solved that problem with falling in love with harem pants and purchasing one with chilling fabrics.
It’s the best pants I have for such days. When the weather can’t really decide if it’s supposed to be sunny and warm or cloudy and moderate. Or when I’m just gonna go for a short walk somewhere, like the store or when the postman comes with a package.
LOL, which reminds me that I greeted the postman today just dressed in a top barely going down below my bottom. To my offence I was sunbathing, but had the decency to dress in something and not just my bikini.
Summer gives dress-up dilemmas and un-decent moments, doesn’t it?
Selstad is my sacred paradise, the tiny location between mountains with a nice view to the sea that I love coming home to and spend my summer at. I am a city person, I love living and spending my days among tall skyscrapers and huge crowds, but coming home to this place to take a break is just fantastic!
No matter how many spiders who has bugged and scared me here this is still my free space. No matter how many spiders there will be I’ll alway love coming home to my mum&dad. As much as I’m in love with the big cities, I’m in love with this place.
I love falling asleep to the sound of the river and birds chirping. I love waking up to the same sounds. I love the smell here, it’s so fresh. And if I want sea or forest air they’re both just a few minutes away. I also love that there’s no stores within 10 mins reach by walking. You COULD walk, but it’s pretty long.
Yup, I love this place.
