Forget about black&white! I have fallen in love with pictures in sepia. I can’t quite explain it, but it make’s the moment in the pictures more real. Like an old and well-kept memory.
Part one here!
Coffee made on a bonfire is always the best, whether it’s enjoyed by the sea or at a mountain top. And it’s always nice to do something together as a family. I also got my mum to take some pictures of me, usually I’m always behind the camera. I am really satisfied with the pictures I snapped here. If I weren’t in love with editing my pictures in a cosy way, I would have posted the originals. Anyways – First day at home well spent!
Last post of my runaway weekend last week, also the last day of it. I totally had the feeling of not wanting to leave yet. I probably didn’t want the weekend to be over yet because I didn’t want to get back to school and do the last exam. Anyways, we saw a fox running across the land outside the kitchen window when we ate breakfast. It was really pretty~
Afterwards we where lazy for most of the day untill we realised we had to hurry up and tidy up the place before we left. We stressed a bit because we miscalculated how much time we would need. But we made it~! Didn’t take much pictures that day, but I just had to take some of the place as we left.
It’s strange what the weather can make sometimes. This was the view from our living room a few days before I had to leave. I am happy to be back to the city, with the people I love and the opportunities and activities it has. But I can’t deny the fact that I miss this kind of views already. So magic and mystical, it looks like a painting.
But there is one thing I am not missing, and that is the snow. Don’t get me wrong, I am a winter person, but even I do get ready for warmer temperatures at some point. And here in the city the air has a hint of spring in it, so I am going on my first run outside this year in a few minutes. Just have to dig after my sneakers first! I wonder where they are…
Beautiful colors on the sky this evening. The view from the living room here can be so mesmerizing. Right now the moon is shining brightly, and the cloud is making it look likes it dominating the sky all alone tonight. It might seem a little sad, but not too far away a very bright star is shining.
This saturday when we stopped at a grocery store in one of the many valleys of Meløy, I saw this beautiful weather and just had to get a picture of it. It looks like it’s some kind of mist, but more likely theres was a snowstorm going on at the top of the mountains.
While the rain pours down here (okay it isn’t raining today luckily), it is actually snowing on the mountain tops. I love how the mountain tops looks like they are drawn with a pencil. Maybe not that I am getting better, from my cold, I’ll get up earlier and get some good pictures of them in the morning light. Who knows~
I have played a little more around in Photoshop this time, using other tolls than JUST levels ect. Found a lovely photo blog I’m going to follow, who also have shared some great tips on youtube. I do intend to find more tips on youtube, maybe I’ll get better at editing photos one day~!
Every summer my dad & I goes something called Fjelltrimmen. If you go on 10 out of 16 mountain tops you’ll get a cute coffee cup with a print of a mountain top you might have been on. It’s not much, an is certainly not the reason, or at least only reason for doing it.
It’s the whole trip itself that’s the big gain of doing it. Being out in the nature, smelling and breathing the extra fresh air and coming to the top and see the stunning view. To see places you know from a whole new angle. It’s just stunning.
So yesterday we went mountain hiking to Ronetinden, which is our first trip this year. I love going somewhere new, and get a whole new perspective on my home place. Although the top of the mountain was a bit scary, the view was just priceless.
