Ups, did not intend to leave my blog hanging for so long. Guess that is what happens when you get a visit from Norway, and is pretty busy at school too. Anyways, on Friday 05th of october M got his week of autumn break, and got on a plane to Birmingham. And I got on a train to meet him there.
We spent the weekend in Birmingham staying at Bloc Hotel. Which I am very happy with, because it was lovely and it was placed in a quiet street. It’s a hotel inspired by japanese space-saving design, and has many awesome solutions.
Ofc, I was too happy to see M again to remember taking photos. But I have a lot of pictures from Saturday and Sunday coming up in bit by bit! Stay tuned~:)
Finally~! I got to eat my favorite ice cream in the sun yesterday!
There’s a shopping mal in town that just got the best ice cream ever, which I don’t eat very often because it is a bit pricy. But after a long day inside trying to pack, but not at all doing so, I got my boy to walk with me over to the mal. Because I really really wanted that ice cream. I’m pretty sure I haven’t eaten it since my friend Lele lived in town last year/spring. Soo soo yummi~!
Also, its hard to take pictures with someone who’s taller than you, I kept cutting his head of no matter how high I lifted the camera. He also kept talking or laughing, but I was determined to get a good shot of us together. (I’m not so sure how much he approves of me posting this, but I don’t care~)
These shorts deserves so many pictures-they're absolutely fabulous!
So after drinking a coffee at Choco Boco café with a friend I didn’t hesitate at all when she asked me to join her for some shopping. And I am so glad we went to the big Gina Tricot store in the city. After a lot of goofing around and discussing weird pieces of clothing, and me saying “PINK” every time I saw something pink, I came over these shorts in lovely pastel colors. Light purple, light pink and mint green. The three color I dream about every night, because it’s the color I want to dress up in this summer. So I grabbed the 3 of them and hitt the fitting room.
Gosh, I have never ever in my life worn so cheep shorts that fits my ass me so perfectly! Not even the demin shorts I purchased last summer for about 300NOK I think is equally comfortable to wear. These where really REALLY comfortable, and costed only 150 NOK each. There weren’t any other option, I had to buy all 3 of them.
And yes I am so amazed by these shorts I am dedicated an entire blog post to them. They really deserves the “perfect jeans” tag. I am so exited to wear one of them tomorrow! Which one to start with? I might want to do an all pink outfit with my pink lace shirt from Galstar…!
For a very long time now, I’ve forgotten all about drinking tea and all the Pukka Herbs tea’s I got. So I finally got myself to make me some big cups of tea these past days. During the weekend I enjoyed myself a cup of Three Mint and Vanilla chai. Today I made me a cup of Love at school to warm my heart, and I am currently drinking a cup of After dinner. Because it’s after dinner, and my stomach is a bit upset.
I’ve said it before and I don’t mind saying it again; I love tea that has purposes and health benefits. I also love these two pictures I snapped on sunday. I tried really hard to capture some cool pictures of the damp, which weren’t that easy. But with a little editing I managed bring out some of it.
Would you believe me that this little guy pretty much spent his whole saturday harassing me? At least, know I really do know what it means to be jumped on by a dog. I wonder if he fell for me? He just couldn’t leave me alone, and he knew how to work those puppy eyes on me!
Firstly you need the ingredients, then you need the friend who knows how to do it, the friend who always spill on her self, and yourself who doesn’t understand a single thing. You also need a camera, and the same sense of humor.
You need to pay attention to the details, the strawberries should be awfully red. So should the pomegranate seeds also be. They should look like their ready to explode, like they do if you taste them. Just try.
The photographer(yourself) should continue to take pictures while the friend who knows how to make the cake works. Golden rule, but mostly because you don’t know what to do. Make sure the conversation is going tho. Then the friend who manage to spill on herself should suggest the decoration, and that’s your clue to start helping! And in…
3.You got a cake that should explode and melt in your mouth with love, while it gives you a total sugar rush after two pieces. This cake was so delicious and fresh! Sunday was really nice, thanks to Eirin and Nina.
OH, and Nina, un edited pictures is coming just for you on FB~
