From Tuesday when the weather was clear and sunny, today we can hardly see anything around us. We can see the mist traveling past the houses, its kinda weird but finny. At least we got two days with sun, so I don’t mind much. I got to wear my favorite denim shorts (the only one!) and my favorite tee, love how they look together.
Inspired by my lovely friend, Lele, I decided to try out a new hairdo – and wow how comfortable it is to wear! I absolutely adore how cute and chic it is, and how easy it is to make as long as you have a hair-donut to help you.
Sunny weather means that I can go outdoors and take outfit pictures, and its so much more fun! I have found two spots to use. Typical of me to find them right before I leave home. And, did I mention sunny weather? YES, it finally came yesterday. Must be the first time I wore my bikini and tanned for over a month.
That says it all about how bad the weather it has been.
Yesterday I decided to dress up some, and combined my asymmetrical skirt with a cropped top. Love how it turned out! Also tied a scarf around my hair, and putt my hair up in a high ponytail.
Due to the lack of dressing up there has been more or less none outfit post coming from me this summer. The reason behind is because I am working as a cleaner for almost 5 weeks how, and have been set on dressing practical for work. I don’t want to wear my beloved shirts and ruin them at work. And I don’t think it’s properly to dress up in high-waisted shorts.
But today I was sick and tired of being practical so I wore jeans at work, and it went just fine! After work I decided to doll up a little in order to stay awake, and go outside to get some fresh air. I took my beloved camera with me and went walking around the lot snapping pictures and hunting for the perfect “photo set”. This place of course requires that there hasn’t been raining during the day. But at least I’m back~
And gosh – I love wearing my lovely dog print shirt from the 5×5 collection of Bik Bok.
I still haven’t found the perfect spot for outfit pictures. The room isn’t fully organized yet and there’s stuff all around so it havent been quite easy to find one. I also forgot to recharge my SLR camera earlier, so these are taken with my old digital camera – hence the poor quality (in contrast to usual).
Anyways, pretty satisfied with my hair and make-up today~!
Originally wore a headband with feathers too, but I had to take it of before I got a headache. You can see pics of it on my Instagram :) Also, it’s been a while since last time I wore this dress. I wanted to be a bit ethnic and do a crazy combination with the pattern of the dress and the thighs which is kind of similar.
Going to bed early tonight, because I’m working from 7AM tomorrow! Have to get up early….Hng!
Yesterday when I got ready to meet with a friend I felt a little summer-ish and sporty! So I opted for caps and shorts. Haven’t been wearing any of my capses in a while. I also put in almost every animal rings I have… One dragon, one owl, one elephant and one with leopard print. Almost felt like a zoo.
Anyways, I went out eating with a friend at a place we both love. We have been talking about it forever, so it was about time we did it. I am starting to notice that there is many things I’ll miss in this towm, and many people. Its going to be weird to NOT live here, which I have been for the last 3 years.
As I promised myself, I dressed up properly today! I also snapped some shorts. After watching some episodes of Criminal minds…Meaning that I haven’t done what I’m really supposed to do – Packing.
Anyways, after sitting and pondering on what to wear I suddenly decided I wanted to be green. Like, really green. So one of my beloved old cardigan finally got used again. I think I’ve had the cardigan and that shirt for about 4-5 years. Really. The shirt has been my favorite for ages, the cardigan has been both hated and loved. I haven’t always had a clue on what to do with it…
but now I got a lovely mint green shorts that fits it. Yay~
And to avoid becoming to green, I decided to wear my violet lipstick as a contrast. I fixed my nails to, choosing to do a little twist on the colors. Lately I’ve just had one color at a time. Need to go back to what I love – duo colors! Scary to see how much the mint green nail polish fits the shorts.
Only problem left – which shoes to wear?!! Need to figure that one out, as I am going out to eat with a friend later.
It was quite hot outside yesterday in contrast to how low the temperature have been so far in May. Usually we’re spoiled with even hotter temperatures. Not this year. Anyways, since it has been all sunny and nice I got quite inspired by my friends idea of how to do the boho style. Meaning, more colors and such. I like that idea, I havent been all crazy for all the boho’ness in the stores so far. But with colors, it might work.
I finally got to wear the t-shirt with such lovely pastel colored print with my light purple shorts! Been thinking about that for ages. And I am so happy to wear my favorite khaki green jacket.
But, of course its chillier outside today. My typical luck with my birthday (May17th) and any birthday plans I make. Oh well, friends, gifts and good mood is going to make up for that tonight~! I think it’s the first time I seriously have celebrated my birthday with an actual party in T-town on the night before. I am so looking forward to it.

Finally, here’s the outfit of yesterday. I was supposed to update before going to bed yesterday, but just got to tired to type. And I was also supposed to post it in the early morning, but I overslept. Yes mom, I fell asleep after replying to the text. Luckily I woke up before 7AM so it wasn’t a disaster. I seriously need to learn to get to bed earlier, but it’s so hard when its sunny and light outside! At school I just got to busy, and I’ve just gotten back from the café, spending time with one of my best friend in town. So lovely~
But yeah, the outfit! Very mint green/blue and nostalgic. This sweater reminds me so much of my childhood, when almost every child had a knitted weater with flowers. I also feel that this outfit has something 80′-ish over it. This time I think the black tights actually fits the outfit, because of the black letters, but they could have been in another pattern or less. I seriously need to stop ruining my tights… But in all, I really love this one colors style. I know I have said it before, but I just love it so much!
Pink! Best word to describe my outfit for today. I have been wanting to make an outfit like this for ages, so when I purchased the pink shorts yesterday I had a clear plan of what to wear today when I woke up. I am such a fan of this kind of outfits, just focusing on one color. Choosing different fabrics, textures, patterns and tones of the color will make sure it don’t look dull or crazy. The top of it all, making it perfect, is the bright pink accessories and lipstick.
There’s actually one thing I don’t like about this outfit, and that is the black tights I had to wear. I only got black tights in different patterns. Oh, and crazy colored ones with floral patterns (it was SO in 2 years ago in my wardrobe at least). So I went out hunting for lighter tights, lighter black ones or skin colored ones. And I found some~! Not telling where yet, because I didn’t buy them – have my wallet with me! So I’m just hoping their still there tomorrow.
