Uni life just keep getting busier and busier, today its two weeks before hand in and I find myself feeling a little bit robotic. I just work, eat, sleep. Then get up to work some more. Still, somewhere inside that robotic girl there is passion. Maybe a bit frustration, but definitely lots of real passion.
Because why else would I accept drowning in this work?
But due to a lot of work and little time to look around and appreciate, it is hard to find that Christmas feeling and atmosphere. So I insisted on buying a pre-lit christmas tree rising 90 cm over the ground. I really insisted. And I got my wish and some red christmas bulbs and golden glitter! It has its charm where its standing in the living room greeting me good morning every morning when I eat my breakfast. Love it!
Christmas tree and my lovely school bag ;3
Knitted over-knees on cold days are best <3
Beautiful christmas tree with student "work" in the background!
It is possible to relax with work. I warmed some left-over food, poured a glass of wine and lit an incense of relaxing aroma. I am quite fascinated by aromatherapy yes. Then I started to do some research in one of the books on eco-design which I have borrowed from the Uni’s library.
Some pictures I took last monday while studying for my history test in WW2, saddly I became sick. But still, these pictures do resemble how it looks around me when I study for upcoming tests. A mess of papers, books, notebooks, pens, cups with different beverages and so on. Yes, a cup of coffee and a big cup of tea is very important while studying. Saddly a bottle of sparkling wather is missing!
My desk will look something like this later on today, when I sit down to get ready for my upcoming mock exam in math. I really do hope this will be my last test in that subject. I am crossing fingers and everything I have that I wont be picked for math exam. I rather have NO and NO sidelanguage….
I am sorry for not updating much lately, but I am prioritising my upcoming tests before my blog. It’s just how it is now during april and may. School is just way to busy. I had an NO test today, I have a science test tomorrow, an essay day on monday and a history test on Tuesday. I also have another essay day on monday after next week. Then I have a whole day test in math sometime after that.
AND after that the exam periods begins.
Anyways, this week has been pretty intense, and the start of next week wont be any better. I would love to shoot some outfit pics today (because I love my outfit) but right now I’m just way to tired after studying in science. But I hope to get better tomorrow, or that I’ll be able to update some during the weekend.
And that I'll get time to take more pictures around town soon.
I am just being the big geek that I am, studying hard and forgetting everything else~
Mh, I’ve been quite efficient today. Considering I’ve spent the previous night on a train, sitting in a chair awkwardly for hours. I managed to get through school, and I even managed to study for the upcoming history test on Wednesday, during my free time between lessons.
Now what I didn’t manage so well was staying up all day. When I got home I was in a very big need of a power nap. So power nap it was. The only issue I got with power naps is that they don’t seem to work on me. So while trying to study some more everything else became much more interesting.
Like my hair dangling from my face down into the book...
Then suddenly, I was screwed...
and I had two choices: To fall asleep in my book, or to do something else. So what else is there to do when you’re supposed to study? Well… Camera +book= Amateur photographing fun.
I decided to abuse my history book.
Oh sweet revenge for abusing my fall break....
Well, I was saved from boredom/tiredness when my sister later on came on a visit. Talking with her is fun. We talk more freely than before, and I like to think we have come closer as sisters and friends. We ordered a bunch of teas from Pukka Herbs, can’t wait for them to come~!
oh yes, Pocky and SMS from my BFF. so much for concentration
Since I’m more or less cured from my previous illness, I figured I had to start studying for my test in history next week. Had an exceptionally great start; I ignored my alarm clock and stood up 2 hours later than planned.
Still, I have been reading and writing notes on political ideologies and their core philosophies all day before dinner. Barely got started on the timeline for the age of vikings in Norway. Think I need to study some more after watching the news and drinking coffee. Not that I normally watch the news, it’s just around then mum&dad makes coffee ect. It’s amazing how much I know about the world when I’m home, in contrast to when I’m in Trondheim without a tv.
Viking age time line, we were rebels against Great Brittain back then...
Nothings better than being warm&comfy when studying~ <3
Ah, I feel like a kid discovering photo editing for the first time. Seriously, if I’m ever going to get a hang of it I need to keep trying. So please tolerate me and my weird editing. Just a question, is it annoying that I always put my images in a gallery? It’s just something I normally do when I post more than two pictures… Is it better like this?
