Directly at the sun~

Luckily, yesterday was another hot & sunny day.

After arranging something important for my upcoming study year, I went outside to tan – and kept doing something important. I had found my interior text-book the day before and laid down to read + memorizing technical terms and expressions. But after dinner and ice cream break plus some more work, I got tired of doing just the same.

And it was time for coffee break~

07.07-08.07: Last Weekend~

Photos from the last two days M spent here, before he had to leave. As usually I remembered to snap photos sometimes and other times I totally forgot. I guess I was to busy enjoying life right there and then. I still am, because stuff is working out pretty good for me! What stuff that is I’ll update you all on later. Back to the post, these are the last pictures from that weekend. One last sappy post!

Saturday + sun = BBQ!

It was an amazing sunny summer day that saturday, but sadly a cold wind made it a bit chilly. But nothing could stop us that day, except rain, we were determined to BBQ before M left. It’s always such a funny and lovely event.

I love this overexposed picture.

Yummy looking bits of fish~!

And it totally was - so tasty~!

From sunday :)

It was a lovely sunny day too, I am happy that M got two days with this weather before he left. On sunday we just enjoyed the sun, talked and M packed while I kept asking if he had remembered everything. Still he managed to forget one shorts and a jacket.

5 mins until it was time to walk to the bus stop..

Lovely view and purple flowers by the stop.

The bus leaving with M on it...

If any one wonders, yes it was pretty sad. But we had such a lovely time! Besides, I get to see him again in August. And oh boy, I am looking so much forward to it. Visiting t-town, seeing friends and people I got to know during this school year again. But yes, what I am looking the most forward to is to spend days with M again~

06.07 – Fish, Strawberries and a cat.

Here's a bunch of pictures from the friday M spent here.

It is basically 3 different shoots of different happenings through the day. The weather was gray and cold, a big contrast to the previous day.

Anyways, we started the morning with frying the sea-trout M got and eating it on slices of bread for breakfast. It is really amazing to eat something that is so fresh out of the sea. It tasted super yummy!

Since the weather was lousy we decided to do some shopping

M had to endure a tiny hour in a local clothing store, which had a 3 for 2 sale. And I found one lovely mint green top, a black t-shirt and a hot pink sweater, after trying some 5-6 pieces of clothing. Afterwards we paid my favorite store a visit  – the local Thai store! I can spend hours there if somebody let me. So after some shopping we got really hungry and decided to eat at the hotel. Which was really nice.

Later that day mum had bought some norwegian strawberries that we ate with cream milk and sugar. Gosh, it was so delicious! Norwegian strawberries taste like heaven.

Then our 3rd and youngest cat decided to cuddle, with M!

It’s funny how these pictures makes it look like she is trying to steal M from me. But the truth was that M was scratching her while I was combing her fur. Right there she was the happiest cat in the world. When she decides to cuddle, she can be really intrusive. Both of us had fur all over our clothes afterwards. Still, it was a funny moment for both of us.

This cat us so strange some times!

05.07 – A day on the Rocks

On Thursday morning we got up and drank coffee with JP and Lele, then JP was so kind that he drove us home. After breakfast we decided to go down to the rocks by the sea and enjoy the weather! I laid down to sunbathe, and M borrowed my dads fishing rod. I’m warning you, there’s many pictures so this update is pretty long! It’s been hard to update while M has been here, because I wanted to spend time with him not with my laptop. But he left a few hours ago to catch his plane home…

anyways, the weather was super lovely!

The wind came from north (for the sea), but it was still warm. Which is super rare! Since it was so hot out in the sun it was pretty nice to have that breeze. It made it quite magical down on the rocks, specially when I had someone to share it with. We both laid down to enjoy the sun a bit before M decided to fish some, and I had to kill a few bees with my shoes. They where annoying!

I fell totally in love with this spot!

I love this pic of the sunglasses on his head/hair~

And I adore this blurry pic of a feather in the grass

and the strange clouds on the sky out there!

Multitasking - fishing and tanning!

A shot of the clouds that came closer, wonder how those was made

After a while I had to cool off~!

Time went by so fast, suddenly we had been there for over 4 hours! I accidentally fell asleep while sunbathing and woke up with M nowhere in sight. He had walked around some rocks without telling. Right there I got a bit lost and confused, untill I found him. After a while I had killed 2 almost 3 bees and M had gotten one sea-trout~! After those 4 hours we decided to walk home because we where really hungry.

Reliving the moment and looking at these pictures I really miss him already! It’s my blog, I’m allowed to be a little sappy.

Hot Summer day~

Yesterday, we had planned to take the bus to my good friends in Storvika and we got really lucky with the weather. So sunny and warm~ When we got there Lele and JP had plans to BBQ, which ended up in a really nice dinner outdoors.  We sat in the sun and talked and had a good time until the sun hid behind a tree and mosquitos appeared. Then we walked indoors and talked even more. Yesterday was just perfect!

We had such a wonderful time, I almost forgot to take pictures.

Sunbeams by the sea

Today we’ve been waiting patiently for better weather, and luckily it came. After dinner we went for a little road sightseeing around my home place. Marius is here for a week, so I figured I had to show him around some. I snapped some pictures when we went to the marina for small boats.

Pansies in the sun

Just wanted to share some pictures of lovely pansies in the sun. We usually have these on the balcony rack almost every year in all sorts of colors. I love them, both for their colors and for their smell. It’s one of those smells that just belongs to the summer season.

Its been sunny and really warm weather the first two days I’ve been home, but today the sun is struggling to break through the clouds. But it’s still nice, so I might have to do my workout outdoors today top! (Did it on saturday)

Midsummer bonfire part 2 ~

Part one here!

Coffee made on a bonfire is always the best, whether it’s enjoyed by the sea or at a mountain top. And it’s always nice to do something together as a family. I also got my mum to take some pictures of me, usually I’m always behind the camera. I am really satisfied with the pictures I snapped here. If I weren’t in love with editing my pictures in a cosy way, I would have posted the originals. Anyways – First day at home well spent!

Midsummer bonfire part 1~

Yesterday we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather we got, and went to the rocks by the sea to make a tiny bonfire and boil coffee. It’s the finest weather we have had on midsummer day in years. So we packed a picnic basket with cups, coffee and cookies and a wheel barrow with wood for the fire and walked down to a spot my mum has known of since her childhood. It was nice to just do something different and drink our afternoon coffee else for a change~

I’m splitting up this post because I got 17 lovely pictures to share. Which I personally think is a bit too much for one post. Next is coming up pretty soon.
