Last Christmas

Sitting here trying to find some motivation to work, and whats better than reliving last christmas and looking forward to this years christmas break. Because going home for christmas is really the best award I can get for finishing my work. Looking at it that way I feel I HAVE to work hard to finish.

Oh last christmas was so amazing~! But I am realizing how little pictures I took, and how little I edited. This year I a going to take loads of photo, post like crazy and memorize everything tight into my bone. This year is extra special because I am further away than normally. I am in a situation where I’m not only looking forward to go home, I am also looking forward to get back to Norway. I am also missing a lot of people this year, usually it’s just a few. And I miss someone really really dear to me, M. It makes the going-home-for-christmas-feeling extra strong.

Sweet Weekend pt.1

Here is some pictures from the weekend I spent at my friends Lele&JP’s place. I just came home a few hours ago~ I always hate the feeling I get when a good weekend is over, so I figured I should edit some memories (pics). These are pictures from saturday~ It was a lovely day with pancakes for breakfast, a hard workout on arms, a walk to the store because I forgot my toothbrush, a lovely taco dinner and a few drinks. And always in company of Lele’s cute bunny, Møffin~

Matching the environment pretty well huh? Anyways, during the weekend I have decided that I want a bunny myself, might be some years too, but I definitely want one~! They are shuch charming and lovely creatures.

Instagram part XI

I fought hard to overcome my sleepiness today. Managed to feel awake while I played Sims 3, but after I shut it down it was hard to stay awake. Figured I had to update and post part 11 of my Instagram entries. It’s from 26.06-05.07 – the start of my holiday, some extra working days and from when M was here. Hot Summer day~

Yesterday, we had planned to take the bus to my good friends in Storvika and we got really lucky with the weather. So sunny and warm~ When we got there Lele and JP had plans to BBQ, which ended up in a really nice dinner outdoors.  We sat in the sun and talked and had a good time until the sun hid behind a tree and mosquitos appeared. Then we walked indoors and talked even more. Yesterday was just perfect!

We had such a wonderful time, I almost forgot to take pictures.

Silver Elephant

Yesterday I meet up with two old friends I havent seen in a while.

It was great, it’s lovely how it’s just like old times when we get to gether. First we ordered coffee at a café, I of course got my favorite chilli coffee. Then we went wandering around shopping, two of us doing so without buying because we were broke, and one of us shopping clothes for a music festival they both are going to attend to. Then one went home and I went eating and wandering around the city with the other. It was lovely!

So, basically I’m not broke, I just don’t want to buy anything just to get more to pack… But I just couldn’t stop myself when we came across a 2 for 1 sale at a store with lovely rings. So I got the two in the picture above for 80NOK. Love the silver elephant~

Beautiful Sunday

Here’s some pictures from sunday, when the weather was amazingly warm and sunny. It was one of the first days I was able to be outside and enjoy it. It was also the day I discovered that I had forgotten to take my bikini with me to t-town since last summer. So I had to sunbathe in bra and shorts. Luckily I didn’t have time to get a tan from it.

I went to a friend that has a grass field right by the river.

We laid there in the sun and talked about everything. So nice. We also played an old throwing game (pic with all the wood sticks), and I was so bad at throwing. Such a nice day~ Also, such a nice evening with friends and a wonderful time out at the summer party at one of our favorite clubs.

I really needed a day and night like that :)

Pink and sweet!

There's no such thing as too old for it or to pink.

This was the birthday cake I got from some lovely friends~! Love it so much, I don’t think I have the heart to throw away what I haven’t eaten up yet. And I have eaten A LOT. I had such a great celebration on the night of the 16th. Spend time with lovely people, got cake and gifts, and went out and got a birthday drink. Then on my birthday, which I share with my entire nation, I went out to see the parade and eat cotton candy. In other words = Perfect.

So, this is mainly why I haven’t been blogging much lately. Not an excuse, just a fact. I’ve also been a little lazy. Might be because of the cake. Anyways, I’ve finally gotten around to editing some pictures from the parade, which I think I’ll post tomorrow :)

What happens when you visit a good friend

As you may (or not) know, I am back at my place in Trondheim. And as you may (or not) know, during the days I spent at my home place I also visited my cutest and sweetest friend. You know how conversations just goes on and on because you can talk about anything? And how you can spend time together in silence just because it doesn’t bother you? And that a lot of different things happen when you’re with THAT friend.

Well.. Here's how those days went by~

We drank coffee. A LOT. Morning, mid-day, after dinner, in the evening.

Had a groggy and early morning, sooo tired, not functioning properly...

Took pictures, talked about cameras and broken lenses, cam-whored.

Had serious conversations, talking about life,problems and school issues.

Stared at and tried to take pictures of not-so-willingly fishes.

Talked fashion, spring wardrobes wishes and colors

Had joyful conversations about life, rabbits, happenings and pinkness

Chopped and ate pineapples, had fun with the slices...

And made smoothie of it, orange and berries of course~

And took pictures of snails on a trip up the walls of its world.

Well, that’s what went on in a very simplified way. I just love spending time with my friends, being carefree, letting the conversations just flow freely. While talking with my friend I realized how much I relax when I’m at my home place, how its kind of my zen and meditate centre. And I realized that wherever I end up living in this world – I’ll always come back here to recharge and relax.
